Natural Remedies to Ease Toothache Pain
Toothache, we all experience it and it can seem the worst pain in the world, it can nag away or the pain can become increasingly worse. It is important to visit a dentist before the pain becomes unbearable as they will be able to determine the cause of the problem and resolve it hopefully fairly quickly. It is important that we look after our teeth as not only are they an important part of our overall health, they are imperative as regards our appearance too.
Tooth decay is often the main cause of the pain and this happens because we all tend to indulge in an unhealthy diet in the form of:
- Soft drinks
- Pastries
- Sweets
- Sugar
The sugar is broken down into acids by bacteria and this starts the process for erosion or tooth decay.
Fortunately there are many home-remedies which can be useful to help keep our teeth and gums healthy:
Garlic
If experiencing extreme pain, rub a clove of garlic coupled with a little rock salt directly onto the tooth. This can relieve the pain quickly and sometimes will be sufficient to cure the problem.
Onion
Onions have bactericidal properties and if eaten raw regularly, this can help to protect the person from a range of disorders. Toothache can be eased by rubbing raw onion directly onto the gum or infected tooth.
Lime
Lime is also useful for preventing dental problems and healing as it is a rich source of Vitamin C.
Clove
Clove reduces infection as it has natural antiseptic qualities and it eases pain very quickly and efficiently.
Pepper
Add pepper powder and common salt and use to prevent bad breath, bleeding from the gums and toothache. It also helps to ease sensitive teeth.
Cleaning Teeth
It is important that the teeth are cleaned properly every day; it is worth taking advice from your dentist to ensure that your technique is correct.
Meditation
When experiencing toothache or sore gums, use meditation to help boost the power of inner healing. The techniques are easy to learn and can be also used to combat the fear of going to the dentist.

As a matter of fact, we use a sedative material name IRM, to relief pain in patient's teeth. This IRM contains Eugenol, which is what is contained in the Clove. So maybe the difference between the IRM and the Clove is the package! :)
